It was tough to win my Minn and over plays yesterday when the Gophers scored 5 points over a span of 15:56. They got the 2nd foul on Ware with 8 minutes to go in the first half. It was silent while we were shooting free throws and I yelled Attack Ware, Attach Ware. He looked up at me and after the first made free throw crossed the box and staired at me. Unfortunately the Gophers coaching staff and two bigs including 6'11" Dawson Garcia thought it was better to shoot threes and if it came inside to throw it back out instead of going after him to get a 3rd foul. That strategy didn't work as Minny shot 5-26 from the 3 point line.
We'll have to see how our big man Payne is doing after taking a hard fall three minutes into the 2nd half and sitting for most of the game. It let Indiana play inside outside all night and dominate in the paint.
